Last week I decided that I wanted some time to spend just hanging out with just me and Evie, so Saturday night, we went out on our first date. We went to dinner at Bob Evans (I would say it's a mix between Denny's and Marie Calendar's). I had decided to let Evie order whatever she wanted, and the front of the kids menu had a picture of ice cream and chocolate milk, so when I asked her what she wanted, that was it. Ice cream and chocolate milk. So, that's what she got (she did have a few bites of mine, so her dinner wasn't 100% sugar). We hung out, colored on the menu, and I taught her how to play tic-tac-toe. We took our time eating and laughed at silly things. We had a great time, and thanks to the ice cream and chocolate milk, I think Evie will remember it for a long time. Hopefully it's the start of a new tradition for us, only next time I might open the kids menu before I ask her what she wants.
Nevermind on the picture coming soon. I never got one. :) But I have a new picture of me and Evie I'll put in a new post soon.

That's a great tradition to keep Sjuana. I'll have to take Jeff out and do that when he's older.
