I can't wait to dress my kids up on Christmas Eve like Mary and Joseph with a little baby Jesus, and read out of Luke. That's my favorite part of Christmas. And maybe all the treats... What's yours?
On my husband's side of the family we certainly have enough kids to act out the nativity, although they don't (they do have a lovely talent-show type program the kids participate in, though). I have fond memories of being a kid and doing the nativity with all the cousins.
There are so many things to like about Christmas. I love the treats. I like the pretty lights all over. (although I'm not crazy about these new LED lights; do they look kind of strange to anyone else?) I enjoy the beautiful Christmas music. Christmas morning, with kids, is always really special.
