Back In The Day When I Was Young...

So, Dave was out tonight.
While he was gone, I decided I needed some treats for company. Unfortunately, we have rid our home of treats to try to instill some self-control into yours truly. I'm resourceful though. I located some Baker's Unsweetened chocolate squares in the cupboard. Ah hah! I whipped up a batch of BAKER'S ONE BOWL Brownies. I omitted the nuts, and added a peanut butter swirl thanks to the tip on the inside of the box. Yum. and I'm happy to report that I did not eat the whole pan... yet.
Moving on...
It was a little lonely baking in the kitchen by myself, so I moseyed on over to the computer to try out the new Nikon station that I noticed the other day on Pandora. First, if you haven't tried Pandora out yet, you have to check it out! I'm not a huge music person, and I think it is amazing! I haven't really explored it in depth. We only have a few stations on there. Usually I just turn on our Frank Sinatra station and pretend that I still work at Olive Garden, er... I mean chill. But tonight I was in the mood for a little more than chill, so I clicked the Nikon station on, and this is what I got:
Cyndi Lauper Girl's Just Want to Have Fun
Tony Toni Tone (or Tony! Toni! Tone! to be specific) It's Our Anniversary
The Cardigans Lovefool (I love this song!)
Notorious BIG Big Poppa
DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince Summertime
...
Uh, does this say high school to anyone else? Seriously, I danced around the kitchen for fifteen minutes (but never tell anyone that) and then I pulled out my photo albums, and I've spent the last three hours looking through them (but never tell anyone that either).
And this is what I found....
And now Dave will never leave me alone on Flashback Friday ever again...
And because the regular high school photographer wasn't good enough....
We went to a real photographer, so my parents could order a 10x13 photo of me and set up a shrine in the living room to recognize my accomplishment, but that's okay because...
I thought I was a model.
I also found photos like this...

(sweet old school warm ups we borrowed from some supply closet)
And this...
(no explanation whatsoever)
But don't worry, we had friends.
And after posting these now that key word is had.

I have an explanation, we were trying to see if Jared would react at all to your outfit when you went down to ask him a question dressed like that. Member, he was like, "Gross". Then he got dressed up.

I wish I still had my green jumpsuit. Those were soooo cool. I would totally still wear it, except I would stitch "juicy" onto the bootie first.

ha ha! :)

Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

I laughed out loud Sjauna! What are you talking about, you are and were gorgeous! I have been trying to think of a treat I can make tonight...peanut butter sounds like the perfect touch.
