On the day after Thanksgiving this year, America's traditional money-saving shopping day, we saved a lot of money, mostly by not looking at any ads and not going shopping. There were a couple of things we needed (coat and shoes for Owen, socks for everyone), so we ran over to Kohl's (the only clothing store within 20 miles - unless you count Wal-Mart) and got all of them on sale. Hooray for saving money!
The kids and Dave discovered that he can jump over them and that it's a lot of fun, so Dave has been getting a lot of excercise that way recently. No, he hasn't hit his head.
