Snip Snip

So while we were walking down to the beach one day, the kids ran ahead a little ways. There were some other people heading in the opposite direction, who laughed at something the kids said, and then repeated their conversation when they got to us. The thing is, I don't really remember what the kids heard, because what I heard was,
"Your daughter said,'blah blah blah,' and then your other daughter said, 'blah blah blah."
Um, by the way, I don't have two daughters (well, at least not yet anyways, hopefully we'll find out about that later this month). And the other thing is... that was two months ago.
And this is now. Time for a haircut!
And these are my tools.
No kidding. This is the reason why I've been putting the haircut off for so long. I mean really? Kids scissors? Actually, I didn't think it would be that much different than the haircutting scissors that came in our clipper kit at home, but holy cow! Have you tried cutting hair with cheap scissors?
He would only let me cut it if it was still "woolly", and I didn't know what kind of job I could do with my make shift tools, so I just gave him a little trim. I didn't get any good "after" pictures, so here's just a silly one from Fourth of July.

How funny! I would have just given the scissors to Evie. She would have had fun with that! He's a cute boy!

I laughed when I saw your tools...too funny! I can't believe you were actually able to cut any hair with those scissors. I'm sure it's adorable though!
And on a side note, I can't wait to find out what you're having!
